Shake Shack has really lived up to its name - juicy well-done meat along with their special sauce (kind of tastes like ketchup and mayo, not too mysterious to me)...and their BUN. I don't take it to consideration but the bread is also an important piece(s) of the hamburger.
Also ordered cheese fries because I couldn't leave without trying it...I loved that they had a separate container for the cheese. Fries were hot and crispy.
Being on line is a characteristic of being their customer, their original location at Madison Square Park has the line stretching out to the entrance during it's busiest times. I arrived there at noon but the wait was not horrible. And for their burgers, it's worth it. It's great that they've recently opened a lot of other locations around the city (and with indoor seating!). And the long lines are still there.
For something so popular, the price is alright. But burgers aren't what I eat all the time so I make the trip only a few times each year.
