The crust was store bought so that made it much easier and comes with the pan. (Pillsbury 2 for about $3). Kind of followed the recipe from allrecipes.com but incorporated broccoli and pre-cooked bacon and onion. Also substituted swiss with parmesan cheese. I was going to add mushroom but I know it sweats a lot when cooked and the extra moisture might affect it. And because I kind of followed the recipe, I did not add enough milk. It therefore ended up not as moist as I wanted it to.
Seems that the ratio of eggs and milk or cream is important.But it's okay! I have another pie crust for my second attempt
