For the seafood lovers

The past weekend there was a gathering for a friend's birthday. She wanted it to be special and picked David Burke's Fishtail for brunch. If you don't eat seafood then this isn't the post/restaurant for you. They had a great prix fixe of $25 for three courses. My brunch consisted of:
(friend's picture)
Raw oysters with thai vegetables: It was fresh and tangy I wish there were more.
Scallop Carbonara: A little on the salty side but the pasta and scallops were perfectly done. And I think this dish was worth the price.

For dessert were shared all our dishes which were cheesecake lollipop tree, pudding and banana profiteroles (still trying to get the pronunciation right). Dessert was average compared to the previous dishes but I did find the cheesecake lollipop amusing.
The food was delicious but comparing it to how much we paid for is another thing. I suppose what you also pay for is the amazing interior. This renovated townhouse echos a sophisticated feeling and its walls stenciled with sea animals.
