Summer Break!

I'm enjoying the first week of my summer break! It's been hectic this past month but had a fun and fulfilling semester!

And great times catching up with friends & family by eating good food!

At Sapporo East on 1st Avenue. Comforting Japanese food that I always go back for.

 At NOMAD, a Mediterranean restaurant. I had a medium rare lamb burger which was delish! But on the pricey side.

At Basta Pasta; this place felt intimate and homey with an open kitchen and small tables. My spaghetti with parmigiana and prosciutto was put together in a large wheel of cheese. The cooked pasta would melt a layer of the cheese and mix it together. (Maybe this photo would better explain the process.) It was pleasing as a performance and also as a dish.
