Took a walk today at the Holiday Market that springs up every winter at Union Square. Many unique craftsmanship to check out and occasional hot cider and dessert stands.
And found the Belgian
Wafels and Dinges stand! I've heard so much love about those wafels so I got one with their famous
spekuloos (crunchy peanut butter + magic sauce) topped with
strawberries. It hit the spot on a cold morning. The spekuloos was special; if you like peanut butter, then you gotta try this. But I've got to say I had higher expectations...or it could just simply be that I'm not a sweets person.
