My school had a block party and it was accompanied by beautiful weather. I didn't get to go to last years so this year I wanted to check it out. Every year there's a theme and this year had a circus theme. There were games to play (like that spinning and twirling contraption and an inflated slide that brings back childhood memories) and hooray for FREE FOOD. Also, I ate the weirdest thing ever:
FRIED OREOS
I've only read about them online in a list of "weirdest fried food". Apparently, it's a common treat found in country fairs and such. I swear my cholesterol and blood sugar level did a somersault. Otherwise, it was...good. Not that I'd go back for seconds (my friend loves it and did). It was also messy because the server threw in some sugar confection to cake my face.
There was also chocolate fondue. Yum yum for chocolate covered strawberries!
Along with tables of accessories and clothes to sell. Awesome shades I would totally get one (if it was less than $10) 8)

FRIED OREOS?! THATS AMAZING.
i work at a chip shop, and they fried a snickers bar once (i wasnt there to see it happen D:) - apparently it was sickly. i can imagine an oreo tasting better! ^^
I've heard about fried oreos online too, but never actually saw one before. I think I would be tempted to try it out once too.
