It's the Pillsbury doughboy, but cuter.

Pan Ya means bakery in Japanese. (pan is bread, ppang in korean, bao in chinese—see the similarities?! :D)And that is exactly where I went. I love japanese bakeries for their beautiful cakes and cute decor.

I shared a Green Tea Tiramisu (the dark green round cake at the bottom) with a friend. The top was creamy with green tea flavor and a few red beans and the bottom lined with a sponge cake. It was a nice balance with green tea, which is bland, and the sweet cake. 

I also got a small Mocha for a surprising price of $1.50....it wasn't great...unless you like your mocha on the coffee side than chocolate, good for you. 

Seating is limited, but people eat quickly. Besides bread/cake, there is another counter that makes breakfast and sandwiches. On another side had Japanese snacks like onigiri and meals you could microwave.
