HUMMUS PLACE @ St. Mark's
What I thought was a pretty good lunch deal. Lunch was $7.95 where you picked a hummus & an appetizer. Hummus is a Middle Eastern dip made of blended chickpeas and various spices. Its taste varies by location. And it's recently gone popular over here.
I picked the Mushroom Hummus plus Falafel. The hummus comes with 2 pita breads that you dip and munch munch.
And it was delicious. And very filling. I couldn't finish the 2nd pita...the falafels were good too.
It was my first time trying hummus and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Who knew it could make such a good meal? I liked the presentation of it too. I even bought myself some more at Village Cheese. Makes a great dip with carrots!
