HALAL FOOD
Comes from the Islamic practice of eating(?). No pork, blood, carnivorous anmals and birds of prey.
"Muslims are taught through the Qu'ran that all animals should be treated with respect and well cared for. The goal is to slaughter the animal, limiting the amount of pain the animal will endure."
The halal food I'm aware of is the cart stands by the streets of manhattan. I felt the need to pay a tribute because omgosh the one outside my school is delicious! They have gyro, chicken, beef on rice or a wrap. Then you can add corn, beans, cheese whatever sauces you wish. It ends up pretty big and filling for a mere $4.75. (Other lunches around can add up to around $6)
Have you tried halal?
PS: my friend got more macaroons i'm quite excited

I've never tried Halal. But it does look good!
Oh man, I still have yet to try Halal, but actually, I do hear the one near school is good. And yeah, it's so big looking and priced well. I need to get me some!
Halal food is very very similar to Kosher food. It's the same concept, but one's Muslim, and the other is Jewish.
