I don't know if I said it in the blog. But I've been wanting to try macarons for a while now. And lucky me my friend bought some but she didn't like them. So she gave them to me.
AND yipee yee they taste yummy.
Macaron is a French term. In english is Macaroon. It is a french pastry with a creamy filling inside. There are various flavors and baked in a wonderful array of colors:

HOW CAN YOU NOT TRY ONE?
The one I had I was kind of disappointing because you could not see the filling unless you opened it. And I had no idea what flavors I had (one of them almond?). They were soft and not that sweet. Ms. Macaron and Mr. Milk Tea would be a good pair.

I LOVE MACARON! But actually, in English, they are also Macaron, because if you add an extra "o" it becomes that coconuty confection people also know and love.
But there's this place apparently on 23rd between 6th and 7th called M------something, but it's a small cafe and they apparently have the best macarons. I go to macaron cafe, but according to my friends, the ones on 23rd are better.
