NOODLES

If there's a favorite food I like, it would be noodles. Any kind of noodles. Fried, soup, ramen, udon, cold, HANDMADE!
YUM~
For lunch, I had a little reunion with my friends from last semester. We were all separated into different classes this semester ;(
Anyways, we went to Arirang which is a Korean restaurant well-known for their handmade noodles. I read in reviews that each bowl is handmade. They make the dough, knead it, and cut it into thin pieces.
At first, it's hard to find the restaurant, you have to look up to find the building and also the door. The place is on the third floor so you have to go up these tight stairs with walls decorated with cartoons. There's an elevator, but I didn't trust it...
I was disappointed that the banchan or side dishes were only kimchi cabbage and radishes. And that it wasn't to my taste, I think it was a bit sweet? I'm not a kimchi expert.

The noodles were DELICIOUS though! I had an anchovy soup with potatoes, and vegetables. The noodles were cut pieces of dough and they were soft and easy to chew. (look at that steam fogging up my camera lenses) The cheapest for a bowl was $9.95. To me, it was not cheap. But it was a lot. If you're not a big eater, it's preferred to share it with someone and also share the price if you're on a budget.
I was just a little bit troubled from the customer service. They took the wrong order, I wanted long noodles but they gave the fat ones (even though it was yummy).

Overall, it was a freezing walk to the restaurant, but the bowl of hot yummy noodles warmed me up :)

And tomorrow I have another yummy adventure!!
