I've started taking film photos again! I've pretty much stayed away from my digicam after the 365 project. Maybe I should start posting photos of food from my film cameras...
It's been awhile since I've been to a Bonchon, or Kyochon (Korean Fried Chicken places) and I found this new place called Mono Mono+
Located in the East Village, this restaurant is bea-u-ti-ful. I use that word alot, but this is when I really mean it. From my assumptions, I believe the owner is a vinyl records collector and thus has a bookcase of them stretched across the wall. AND attached to the ceiling was a conveyor belt hanging records and slowly circling the restaurant.
(if you see on the top left corner, that's a treehouse-like DJ house! He has to climb up there on a ladder)
Besides the chicken, everything was average:
ramen (not worth it, not that great)
fried potato wedges (there was a bacon dip, very unique)
corn on the cob (alright, i'm not a big fan of corn)
sushi rolls ( i didn't get a taste of it)
and SOY GARLIC FRIED CHICKEN (crispy glazed goodness)
UNlike the other places I went where the chicken is tiny, theirs were moderately sized. There was even a huge leg that you wonder what hormones they injected into that poor thing......(i ate it :P)
LIKE other k.c.f. places, it was expensive for chicken but had a satisfying meal.
