One of my Christmas presents was The Diner's Deck.
It's a deck of cards but instead of clubs and numbers they're filled with restaurants around Manhattan. And on each card, is a ten dollar gift certificate to the indicated place. (minimum $30 spent)
I thought it was very creative and it's a great gift for anyone who likes to try new food in new places. It's like a yelp in my pocket! It gives you a short description, tells you if it's cheap or expensive, website and what credit cards they accept.
A smart thing to bring to your hangouts and let fate decide where to go for lunch/dinner.

Wow, such a cool gift! I'm guessing we'll see lots of those visits here, yes? :)

Wow that's so clever! Damn, that's pretty cool. Haha. Anyways, thanks for the comment! The little owl brooch was one of the ones made by my mom :).
