Financier Patisserie near Astor Place

A financier is a french cake. 

I loved the ambience, and loved the overall designs. With cakes and cookies, you can't go wrong. Tried flan, tiramisu, and cookies. They looked beautiful, and they tasted light and sweet. The macaroons were huge. Decent pastries for a decent price is pretty hard to find, and I think this is a great place to get them. I could sit there sipping coffee and stare at their mint-striped walls forever.
