i've only experienced snow days 3 times in my life, so today is definitely something to celebrate. NO SCHOOL!!!
It was unexpectedly a lot snow...it started last night around 11 and it was just rain/snow. But this morning wo.oah...it was a winter wonderland.
And it's still snowing...
this isn't a food blog unless there's food right?
What could be better than to watch the snowstorm while cuddling warm in bed, with some milk tea/港式奶茶?
just some history, it 'originated' from Hong Kong (the quotes, because it kind of copied the British where they put milk/sugar in their tea). Their milk tea uses 6-7 different kinds of tea leaves and they boil it over and over to get the strong taste. I watched a short clip that 1/9 of the cup is milk, the rest is tea. Sugar is up to you. It's a must to drink when you visit Hong Kong :)
My morning cup of milk tea is:
tea bag, evaporated milk, condensed milk
No one can make milk tea for me, I like it more on the sweet side and more milk and I'm only satisfied if I make it myself.
